Brenna qualified as a veterinary nurse from Onderstepoort in 2015 and began her career at Bakenkop Animal Clinic in Gauteng, a busy specialist hospital where she gained valuable experience in intensive care and advanced veterinary nursing.

She later returned to Durban and joined the team at St Helier Specialist Veterinary Hospital — a surgical referral centre in Hillcrest — before moving to Inanda Veterinary Referrals — a medical referral centre in Waterfall. Here she was a key staff member during the launch of their dedicated night-shift ICU service. Brenna continued to assist with their  satellite clinics in Gillitts and Kloof while holding a full time position at Glenashley Veterinary Clinic.

Her experience spans general practice, specialist care, and emergency medicine, making her a versatile and highly skilled member of our nursing team. Brenna has a strong interest in internal medicine and brings a depth of knowledge and clinical insight to every case.

With a natural affinity for animals and a commitment to high standards of patient care, Brenna is an integral part of the team. Now also a mother, she balances family life with her professional role and continues to contribute meaningfully to our practice.
